You can buy electricity from other electricity suppliers. www.elpristavlen.dk shows you the prices available. |
| I´m buying my electricity from another utility company. Why am I still receiving electricty bills from the Public Utility Department? |
Even if you have opted to buy your electricity from a different utility company, you will still receive a bill from us as the Public Utility Department cable network is used to transmit the power to you. Therefore, you are paying for a grid service; this charge relates to the operation and maintenance of the cable network and various electricity charges. |
| I think my electricity consumption is higher than it should be. How can I find out why I´m using so mush electricty? |
You can borrow a metering device form Energicenter Aalborg, Østerbro 9 or Elforsyningen, Hjulmagervej 22. This device can help you to find out which appliances are “guzzling” the most power. |
